COSAI this year

Service: one of ARSA's 4 Guiding Principles.
Along with the members of the Council of Committees, COSAI is stepping up this year to fulfill its mandate to facilitate the Residence Halls community's awareness and engagement in socially relevant issues. It also strives to provide opportunities for the dormers to reach out to those outside Ateneo even in the midst of the academic rigor in the Loyola Schools.

Watch out, join, and support COSAI! Wouldn't it be great to say: COSAI-care! :)

Heads Up, World Vision Child Sponsors!

Hello Sponsors!

We would just like to remind everyone that the deadline for confirmation of attendance to "Meet Your Kid!" is this Friday, December 10. Confirm online through this link: http://tinyurl.com/COSAI-WV.

If you have previously confirmed but would like to cancel the confirmation, please send us an e-mail!

Deadline for the Php50 contribution for you and/or your kid's meal is also this Friday. If your collectors haven't collected from you yet, we would be grateful if you can take the initiative to contact your collector.  Eager and passionate people are awesome.  Attached in this e-mail are the contact information of all ARSA-COSAI collectors.

If you can't attend and you feel forced to donate Php50 for your kid's food, think of it this way: in donating Php50, you're allowing your kid to enjoy and have a grand time in a Christmas Party!

Some sponsors have already handed their gifts for their kids to us! And some are already preparing for it! We thank you for your generosity.

Below are the updates we have been sending in the past days, in case some of you haven't read them. Please do read! Knowledge is power.

Thank you, Sponsors! It is a blessing to partner with you in our endeavor to help our fellow Filipinos!

From,

Updates on "Meet Your Kid!"

Hello World Vision Sponsors! :)

It's time to collect for the monthly donations again! Your collectors will be visiting you within this week so we hope you respond to them as soon as they contact you. :)

Important Points:
  1. Have you received the e-mail invitation with the attached letter for the "Meet Your Kid" project? If you hadn't yet, please email us at arsa.cosai@gmail.com so we can forward it to you.
  2. All sponsored children are attending on Sunday, so whether or not you can come, you have to give the additional 50php for your kid's meal on that day.
  3. All attending sponsors will have to give 50php each for their own meal.
e.g. If there are 3 of you sponsoring one kid and you are all attending the Project, each of you will pay 50php and all three of you will contribute for your kid's 50php (in addition to the initial 600php monthly collection).
  4. If you cannot attend, but would like to give a gift for your sponsored child, contact Zhandrez for Eliazo (09228657041), Marvin for Cervini (09276465588), and Pat for UD (09159090827).
  5. Also, the venue for the project will be moved to the World Vision Main Office in Quezon Avenue.
Should you have any questions, please do not hesitate to contact us. Thank you very much!

Sincerely,
Your COSAI Co-Heads,
Camille Tacastacas (0915 327 9366)
Andrew Gawidan (0922 841 7170)

Official Invite to all World Vision Sponsors

December 2010

Hey there, sponsors!

For the past few months, you have been helping to fund a child’s education through your donations. Your support has gone a long way and the children that you’ve helped are very much thankful. Now, this Christmas season, you get the chance to finally meet, and bond with your child in COSAI’s “Meet Your Kid: Share the Christmas Cheer!”

This December 12, we invite you to join us in giving our kids a Christmas party in the World Vision main office in Quezon Avenue! In line with this, we will be asking for P650 during the December collection, the additional 50 of which will be used to fund the child’s food during the party. If you would like to attend this party, we would also be asking each of you to prepare an additional P50 for your own food.

We will be assembling at the Cervini driveway at 7:45 AM. Please come on time and bring your passports, as we will be briefing you regarding Child Protection Policies as prescribed by the World Vision Development Foundation. Please wear an orange or red shirt, pants, and closed shoes, and bring your child’s picture folder for you to be able to identify your child at the venue. You are free to bring anything for your child, such as food, toys, clothes, school supplies, etc. We will be back in the dorm by 12:30 PM. Transportation’s on us! Please also confirm your attendance before the said date, through this link: http://tinyurl.com/COSAI-WV. Last day for confirmation will be on December 10, Friday.

Your World Vision kids are very much excited to finally meet you, thus, we invite you to come and share your day with them! Only those kids whose sponsors will be attending, will be able to participate in this party, thus, we hope to see you there!

Should you have any questions, e-mail us at arsa.cosai@gmail.com. Thank you very much!

Let’s make our kids happy,
